George Benjamin Art Floors
With 28 years experience of laying linoleum flooring and wood flooring,
the enjoyment it gives me shines through in the quality of my work.
I'm only happy if the flooring is perfect. This follows through
into my hand made linoleum art flooring, having put my art talent
and linoleum cutting skills together to create something that I
believe is unique in linoleum art flooring.
Samurai
This design was a rough drawing, just an idea our client thought
of, which turned into an amazing linoleum art floor. Every coloured
linoleum piece cut and assembled by hand. The location was perfect.
As you can see the design fitted in very well with the overall look
of the hallway, giving a great impression as you enter the property.
Kitchen

Kitchen art flooring of a small London mews. The border of this
art floor is brushed stainless steel and the black linoleum has
a slight flec of white, which when combined with a centre shooting
star gives the impression of the night sky.
Country Cottage Dining Room

The art flooring wood strips are all painted by hand to give an
antiquated look. This art floor has a narrow border of black linoleum
with a central feature of stainless steel and linoleum. The floor
design fitted in well giving a modern touch whilst blending into
its much older cottage surroundings.
Unique Floor Tiles

This floor is made with Amtico tiles and strips. It is not a design
that you can buy in the shops but was installed by george benjamin
and designed by martin and charles.
Other Projects
I have installed or layed flooring for BMW, Audi. Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Bentley,
Rolls Royce Showrooms. Also, Imperial College London, Anton Mossinum
(chef to the Queen & TV chef). Paul Stewart (son of Jackie Stewart,
racing driver) plus many more.
How to order your linoleum or wood art flooring
Please contact me for a free consultation. You may have a design
in mind, or we create one together. It is your personal involvement
that makes the art floor unique to you. Nobody will have the same
design as you. Not the queen of England or the President of the
U.S.A.
Copyright is transferred to you.
I guarantee never to do the same art floor again.
Imagine a Picaso looking linoleum floor in your entrance hall,
or a Hopper looking painting covering the whole of your bathroom
floor. A lounge art floor with mixed metals of brushed stainless
steel, brass and copper inlays.
Linoleum flooring will last 20-30 years, if looked after (based
on 3.5mm linoleum, other flooring products may not last as long).
Your art floor can be taken with you if you
move and refitted somewhere else using a special easy peel system.
How long does it take to design and fit?
Please note that I am someone who likes to do a perfect job. If
you have a time scale or special date that the art floor has to
be finished by please understand that this artwork cannot be rushed.
Some flooring may take 7-10 days, others can take 1,2 or 3 months.
I can only give an approximate time scale. Prices range from £2,000
to £50,000+. International customers may be asked to cover
travel and accommodation.
